This review is from: Quantum Energy PT Spinning Reel (Sports) After purchasing and using the Quantum Energy PT Spinning Reel I am very satisfied and happy with it's performance. I purchased the 20 size and use it with a 7' light Quantum Teton Trout Rod (purchased at the same time). The reel is smooth on the cast and retrieve, with 10 bearings it is the smoothest reel I have ever used. I use 6lb mono line and it works great with this reel and rod. The rod is made for a smaller reel but with a little work the 20 size fits. I am anticipating this years fishing season so I can catch more fish with this combo. This reel is a bit pricy but the price is worth it for the excellent quality and smooth fishing. Quantum always uses the best materials and components in their reels you can't go wrong with a Quantum.
